Weekend to-do in KL – Batu Caves

Batu Caves

I passed by this place everyday and never once we visited until I consciously decided this place to be a must in 2019. Maybe the high never ending stairs looks rather intimidating.

Batu Caves is definitely touristy. It’s a place with series of Hindu temples. There is a famous staircase with 272 steps which they painted in multi colors leading to a limestone cave with a temple inside. You won’t miss this from the highway as it has a really tall golden statue at the entrance. The climb was tiring but the view of the city and the limestone cave on top of staircase were breathtaking.
